Conservative and Christian commentator Allie Beth Stuckey wrote on X how she was “Absolutely devastated,” following this news.
Absolutely devastated. I considered Voddie a friend and ally in the fight against darkness. Yet another brilliant warrior taken out of the battle. Lord, I don’t know what you’re doing. But I trust you. Be near— to Voddie’s precious family, to us, and to our nation.

Christian journalist Megan Basham further shared her astonishment of Baucham’s death.
I really can’t believe the news about Voddie is real. Oh Lord give us a thousand men like him. Give us men influenced by his legacy of speaking unpopular truth and discerning unbiblical trends.

Apologist Ken Ham took to Facebook where he described Baucham as a “pioneer” for this generation.
I was greatly saddened to hear the news that pastor and theologian Voddie Baucham had passed away after an emergency medical incident. Voddie was such a powerful voice for truth, saying the hard things that needed to be said.
He was a pioneer in challenging men to stand for Christ in leading their families. Voddie encouraged men ferociously to be the head of their homes—and make sure they were fully responsible for not dropping the ball on being the main influence in the life of their children and leading their wives biblically, encouraging them to be the first to apologize to their children/wife for past mistakes.
No other voice had the impact his did to encourage the current generation to home educate their children—that they would know Christ and make him known. Voddie called men to lead in family worship daily with their homes. He was a pioneer in bringing young people back into the churches to sit together as a family and witness their dads worship the Lord.
