Paul Wilbur | Integrity Music

Paul Wilbur’s new album, Desert Rain, was recorded in Israel last year in front of a live audience of more than 4,000 Christians from 75 nations. This vibrant album differs musically from Wilbur’s older projects, which were more orchestral. He says the musical styles on Desert Rain vary from Hebraic to jazz rhythms, and the lyrics are full of scriptural exhortations.

Desert Rain was designed to remind Christians of God’s unfailing love and covenant with Israel, and to give them songs to sing over the people and the land to prophesy and to declare the timeless promises of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,” Wilbur says.

“This recording takes us on a journey of the faithfulness and passion of God from Zechariah where He declares His burning jealousy for Zion and His promise to dwell in Jerusalem all the way to the return of the Lord in the book of the Revelation, to fulfill that promise of Zechariah with ‘Salvation belongs to our God.'”
