“I’m very aware of mysterious forces at play that I will never have any control of,” says Swift. “This show created a bonding experience for like 70,000 people all at once. There’s something very special about that.”
Indeed, something massive was at play during her Eras Tour. As Charisma Media previously reported, during the concerts, footage of mysterious people in black robes and lanterns set the tone for explicit demonic imagery and the lyrics, “Wait for the signal. They’ll meet you after.”
Perhaps, yes, there were mysterious forces present at these concerts—and not the good kind.

Pop star Sabrina Carpenter, who has also engaged with discussing the devil and the demonic, appeared on tour with Swift as well, along with the immense amount of strange, provocative clothing and seemingly ritualistic lyrics and dancing. Swift focused more on the occult than what most people would like to believe.

In light of these revelations, believers must take seriously the biblical warning to guard the gateways of the soul. What we allow through our eyes and ears shapes our inner life far more than we realize. When entertainment becomes saturated with occult symbolism, ritualistic themes or open acknowledgments of “mysterious forces,” it is no longer harmless.
As we reflect on these troubling revelations, let us lift Taylor Swift in prayer, asking God to surround her with truth and light. May the Holy Spirit gently guide her away from influences that do not honor Him and open her heart to the freedom found in Christ alone.
