The odds are looking less and less favorable for the planet’s future.
Last month, Charisma reported how Asteroid 2024 YR4 had the potential of colliding with earth right around the time of Christmas 2032. Now, it would appear that the odds of this asteroid hitting our world have increased.
As USA TODAY noted, “While YR4 still has a nearly 97% chance to completely miss Earth in 2032, its odds of impact, which now stand at 3.1%, represent the highest risk level of any large space rock ever.” The report further describes Asteroid 2024 YR4 as the “only one” out of all 37,000 large space rocks that could impact the earth at this present time.

The Bible speaks of signs in the heavens as indicators of God’s unfolding plan. It’s quite plausible that Asteroid 2024 YR4 could be one of these celestial signs from the Lord.
Jesus mentioned in Luke 21:25 that “there will be signs in the sun, moon and stars,” and that these events would cause distress among nations. Similarly, Revelation 6:12-14 describes cosmic disturbances, such as a great earthquake, the sun turning black, the moon becoming blood-red and stars falling from the sky.
While we do not know if Asteroid 2024 YR4 signifies an immediate fulfillment of end-times prophecy, it does serve as a reminder of biblical truths.
