After nearly three decades of powerful Bible teaching gatherings across the country, Bible teacher Beth Moore has announced that the beloved Living Proof Live events will soon come to an end.
With deep emotion and gratitude to God, Moore shared that the ministry is beginning the final countdown after 29 years of Living Proof Live events, gatherings that have drawn thousands to worship, study Scripture and encounter the presence of God.
“With a very tender heart and more gratitude to God than I could possibly express, I’m announcing the countdown to our wrap-up of 29 years of Living Proof Live events,” Moore said.
Moore says the announcement was not driven by burnout or loss of passion. She made it clear that the ministry team feels more appreciation for the gatherings now than ever.
“Not because Jesus has ceased to show up or because we’ve lost our passion for these gatherings,” she explained. “Fact is, we have never loved it or appreciated it more.”
For decades, Living Proof Live has served as a cornerstone of Moore’s ministry through Living Proof Ministries, bringing Bible-centered teaching and worship to audiences across the United States.
“One of these days, when my ministry years have come to an end, I will undoubtedly be able to say that lifting high the name of Jesus and studying Scripture through Living Proof Live with my beloved son in the faith, Travis Cottrell, and the best worship team on earth has been unparalleled in joy,” Moore said.

The transition stems from a thoughtful leadership process. After Moore turned 65, her ministry’s board of directors asked her to begin outlining a long-term transition plan for the organization’s future.
Moore chose to approach the moment prayerfully rather than ignoring the inevitable realities of leadership transition.
“So, I took a full year to pray. I talked with my family, then presented a plan to the board and to my faithful staff that has been underway incrementally ever since,” she said.
That plan includes downsizing Living Proof Ministries in June 2027, reducing staff and office space so Moore can focus more intentionally on the areas where she believes God is still calling her to serve.
“The plan includes downsizing Living Proof Ministries in June 2027 to minimal staff and minimal office space so that, turning 70, I’ll have less responsibility overseeing a very busy ministry and the gift of more time to do the things I feel most called to do—to speak and to teach and to write,” Moore explained.
Despite the changes, Moore emphasized that this is not a traditional retirement but rather a strategic adjustment intended to sustain her ministry.
“Though it may sound like retirement unless the Lord wills it, it’s meant to actually delay retirement,” she said.
Still, the moment carries deep emotion. Moore admitted the decision has been painful because of the people and community built around the ministry.
“This is a good thing, a very good thing, but it is such a painful thing,” she shared.
As part of the transition, Moore announced the final seven Living Proof Live events, inviting those who have never attended—or those who want to experience it one last time—to join the historic final gatherings.
“I give you my word that we will give you God’s Word,” Moore said. “We will pray hard, we will prepare hard, and we will give you everything we’ve got.”
Her hope for the final events remains the same as it has always been: that lives will be transformed through the power of Scripture.
“We’re asking God to so powerfully speak through Scripture and lavishly pour His Spirit out on us that people are reborn, lives transformed, and captives set free,” Moore said, declaring the mission that has defined the ministry from the beginning: “Living proof that Jesus saves.”
