In an interesting interview with Fox News host, Sean Hannity, Donald Trump and Elon Musk teamed up to speak about what the Department of Government Efficiency is up to and what American citizens can expect to see in the future.
Below are three shocking points from this epic interview.

1. Musk planned on endorsing Trump for the presidency prior to the Butler, Pennsylvania, assassination attempt.
When Musk announced this in the interview, even Trump himself was surprised. When the president’s life was in danger, Musk says this event was the catalyst for moving up the endorsement date.
“That sped it up a little bit?” Trump asked in the interview. “I didn’t know that.”
2. Musk plans to remove at least $1 trillion dollars of wasteful government spending.
One of Musk’s main goals is to cut at least $1 trillion dollars in spending, according to Fox Business.
“If the deficit is not brought under control, America will go bankrupt,” Musk says. “A country is no different from an individual, in that if an individual overspends, an individual can go bankrupt.”
At the current time, Musk and Trump say only 1% of waste has been uncovered, a number that will surely increase as more files, documents and departments are looked at carefully. While Democrats are calling DOGE unconstitutional, the two describe how corrupt the Left’s agenda has been for years, signaling foul play on the other side.
3. Musk had to pay Trump $10 million in a lawsuit settlement against X.
Prior to Musk’s ownership of X, formerly Twitter, Trump was embroiled in legal action with the company. In settling the suit, Musk ended up paying Trump $10 million, which the president considers to be a “big discount.”
“It’s very low. I was looking to get much more money than that,” Trump told Hannity.
Ultimately, Musk left the legal decisions up to the company’s leadership and lawyers.
