Starring Robyn Lively, Jeffrey S. Johnson, Ralph Waite, Tanner McGuire | Vivendi Entertainment/Possibility Pictures | Rated PG

Letters to God, which releases on DVD today, spotlights the power of prayer and how the faith of a boy facing cancer changes his neighbors’ lives.

Inspired by a true story, the film stars Tanner McGuire as Tyler Doherty, an 8-year-old cancer-stricken boy who writes prayer letters to God every day. Eventually the letters make their way into the hands of a troubled postman, Brady, who is searching for meaning in life. Tyler’s letters ultimately change not only Brady’s life but also others in the community.

While Letters to God touches on the topic of cancer, the overall message is about faith, friendship and the amazing difference one life can make.
