The veil has been torn back and those of us who are spiritually sensitive can tell something is building in the Spirit. I spoke with Rabbi Jonathan Bernis, the host of “Jewish Voice” on how we can understand the connection between the natural and Spirit realm regarding what is going on in America today.
In my interview with Bernis on my podcast “Strang Report,” we discussed Jonathan Cahn’s new book “The Return of the Gods” which Bernis believes is his most revelatory, important work to date.
Bernis shares how ancient false gods have returned to the earth and infiltrated our culture as we know it today.
“Of course these principalities don’t die, they are eternal, but their power was severely limited as the gospel spread,” Bernis told me in our interview.
The pagan gods that heavily influenced Israel thousands of years ago were exorcised from the world as the gospel was spread. These gods of antiquity were dethroned, but in my powerful interview with Bernis we talk about how they have been reestablished through the massive shift in culture and the willingness of society to decay.
In Proverbs 29:18 it says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish; but happy is he who keeps the teaching.”
This vision talked about in Proverbs is God’s great revelation that He has revealed to the prophets. I believe that Jonathan Cahn has been raised up by God in this hour to speak to the body of Christ with deep revelation in the Word of God.
It is essential that the body of Christ does not cast aside what God is speaking through His Word that explains clearly the demonic influence in our culture today. If the church doesn’t stand up, who will?
The sexual immorality, transgender movement and hateful rhetoric toward biblical values is nothing new. There is hope and at the end of Jonathan Cahn’s book you will be empowered as you understand the authority you have as a believer. God has given us authority and power over these false pagan gods infiltrating our children’s schools, entertainment, sports and media.
