1 Peter 3:15 (NIV), “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”
The Lord says, “Get ready for a revival in apologetics for the learned … for those who understand what it means to rightly divide the Word of truth. Look for the prophetic scribe to arise with fresh understanding and profound approaches of reasoning with My people concerning My will.
“This scribal remnant will have a heart for Me … and a deep respect for people. They will understand My love and My intention and know how to enter the hearts of people with truth and reason.
“Have I not called My people to persuade concerning My word and not to fight vainly? Have I not called my people to convince and not to force the will of others? These scribes will renew skill in reason, but with My Spirit. They will reason in love, in hope and in faith—not in cruelty.
“Expect to see a new generation of scholars arise among you who understand My will and My written legacy. Expect them to be skilled in exegetical study as well as in popular views of scholars before them. Yet their scribal release will set a tone for understanding and clarity not previously seen. This group, says the Lord, will convince many that this calling to give life with words and to preach the gospel is not dead.
“Expect quality journals and prophetic magazines to emerge in this arena with pure motives, clear audiences and capable gatekeepers. Expect My Word to be the focus as the art of apologetics is presented. Expect to see this surge globally in the coming months. Let this stand as a confirmation: I have a people who can come and reason together.
“I have placed the passion for rhetoric, healthy debate and apologetics in you says the Lord. I set you apart for the intellectual places and spaces where you are needed to awaken generations. As some mistakenly have sought to dismantle this realm, I have raised you up to meet those I have called by name in that place.
“I have come to free you from the judgments of those who do not understand your scribal calling and who have worked to take this specific call away from you. Know, beloved, that it is their ignorance guiding them.
“In this moment, I am causing you and calling you to share in safe places. I am calling you to stop casting pearls in pits. I am calling you to the people set aside for this work. Set your defense. Write beloved. Catalog. Archive. Record.
“No longer will you try to convince anyone that what I have assigned to you is Me. Understand that pioneers go, they do, they awaken, they revive … they set the pace … and they blaze trails. Your calling is not dead … but in its reviving season.
“I am sending you now. Your pen is your warring weapon as you write on the hearts of people. The scribal anointing is resting heavily upon this population of scribes who are entering a new era. Go. Fulfill. Amen.”
