Worship leader Kari Jobe says “Hosanna” is her new favorite song—and it’s no wonder why. The song is a lively declaration that Jesus is King forever and His people will never stop singing His praise.
“Hosanna” came out today as the first song Jobe’s church—The Belonging Co in Nashville, Tennessee—will release as part of its new album, All the Earth. Pastored by Henry and Alex Seeley, The Belonging Co began in 2014 and revolves around Spirit-led worship. All the Earth features a collection of songs by notable worship leaders such as Lauren Daigle, Cody Carnes, Sarah Reeves, Mia Fieldes, Meredith Andrews and more.
The live version of “Hosanna,” which the church recorded during a conference last year, shows a four-months-pregnant Jobe belting out praises to Jesus:
“Blessed is He / Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Join now and sing / Jesus is King / He reigns forevermore.
“Hosanna, Hosanna/Hallelujah forever.”
Jobe posted a snippet of the song to Instagram, saying she was “so excited” for its release:
