Former FBI Director James Comey was scheduled to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee at 10 a.m. EDT Thursday.
We already know what he plans to say in his statement for the record, but what we don’t yet know is how he will respond to direct questions from senators. Republicans will likely push for vindication of the president, while Democrats will continue their campaign to destroy him. Christians should be praying over this situation.
Following his public testimony, Comey is slated to give a classified briefing to the committee behind closed doors. He will then submit to questioning by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who was his predecessor as FBI director.
