With just days until the midterms, a leading pro-life organization is pouring over a million dollars into exposing what it calls the “extreme abortion agenda” of two top Ohio Democrats who refuse to oppose abortions in the ninth month of pregnancy.
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s Super PAC, Women Speak Out, announced the $1.1 million campaign at an event in Toledo targeting former Sen. Sherrod Brown and gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton. The effort comes as both Ohio races could prove decisive in determining control of the U.S. Senate and the governor’s mansion.
A new ad from the group pulls no punches. Brown and Acton “have crossed the line on abortion,” the spot declares, highlighting their support for late-term abortions on babies who feel pain, abortions for minors without parental consent, and taxpayer-funded procedures.
“Every limit, every safeguard gone. Sherrod Brown and Amy Acton. Wrong side of the line. Wrong for Ohio,” the ad warns.
The campaign will reach voters through digital ads, mail, text messages, and phone calls. Women Speak Out is targeting 621,000 pro-life voters across the state as part of a broader national push to contact 10.5 million persuadable and low-turnout voters before Election Day.

Boots are already on the ground. The Ohio team has visited more than 375,000 homes so far, making their case directly to voters in suburban neighborhoods from Cincinnati to Toledo.
Kelsey Pritchard, a spokesperson for Women Speak Out, didn’t mince words when describing the stakes.
“Amy Acton and Sherrod Brown won’t talk about how their abortion extremism harms women and children in Ohio. They can’t even draw the line at late-term abortions in the ninth month of pregnancy, with healthy moms and healthy babies who feel excruciating pain,” Pritchard told The Daily Signal.
She went further, accusing Democrats of pushing a national agenda.
“The Democrats’ agenda is to bring Massachusetts-style abortion on demand up to birth to every state, with forced taxpayer funding, while denying parents the right to protect vulnerable young girls from abortion profiteers and predators,” Pritchard said. “It’s vital to expose and stop them and elect champions like Jon Husted and Vivek Ramaswamy at every level this fall.”
The group’s internal polling shows the message works. Recent testing in swing midterm races found that highlighting radical abortion positions moves the margin 4 to 5 points toward pro-life candidates.
For pro-life advocates, Ohio represents a critical battleground. The contrast between candidates couldn’t be sharper: Republicans who support protections for the unborn versus Democrats who, according to their opponents, won’t draw any lines at all.
