3I/ATLAS isn’t gone yet. Instead, it is just getting more explosive.
In a powerful and profound update, the European Space Agency (ESA) captured a stunning new photo of the interstellar object using the Juice science camera.
In a report by the ESA, it was noted that in the image: “tiny nucleus of the comet (not visible) is surrounded by a bright halo of gas known as the coma.”
According to the article, the Juice camera used, JANUS, captured an image of the comet on Nov. 6, 2025, which was right after 3I ATLAS was at its closest point to the Sun, about 66 million kilometers away.
The Juice cameras used included JANUS, PEP, UVS, SWI, and MAJIS, which collaborated to uncover how the comet was composed.

From a purely scientific standpoint, 3I ATLAS represents another rare interstellar visitor passing through our solar system, a cosmic traveler from beyond the boundaries of our known neighborhood. Yet moments like these often cause people of faith to pause and look deeper. Scripture reminds us that the heavens declare the glory of God (Ps. 19:1), and throughout biblical history, unusual signs in the skies have often accompanied significant moments in God’s unfolding plan. Jesus Himself said that in the last days there would be “signs in the sun, moon and stars” (Luke 21:25), causing nations to look upward with both wonder and concern.
For many watching this phenomenon unfold, the question may not only be what this object is scientifically, but also what it might symbolize spiritually, as humanity continues to move through an era drawing closer to the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.
