The verse of the year for 2025 is captivating hearts all over the world.
In a news statement, YouVersion released their “most-engaged with verse throughout 2025.” The top slot goes to Isaiah 41:10, which offers reassurance that God will be with us in both the good and the hard times.
Isaiah 41:10 reads:
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
In the statement, YouVersion founder and CEO Bobby Gruenewald said, “I think this verse keeps rising to the top because it addresses one of our deepest needs, the assurance that we’re not alone…In a world full of anxiety and uncertainty, people are drawn to God’s promise to be with us, to strengthen us, and to help us. The organization also noted that 2025 was a “record-breaking year of Bible engagement,” with the Sundays in November’s Global Bible Month becoming the “highest days in YouVersion history for Bible engagement.”
Gruenewald further said that “The momentum we’re seeing gives us bold faith for 2026 and beyond.”
This growth goes along with the increased number of people buying Bibles, attending church and taking their spiritual lives seriously. As we are getting closer to the end of time, more and more people are coming to the reality that there is a God, and His gospel is going out to the very ends of the earth so that every tribe, tongue and language can hear the message and the name of Jesus Christ as Lord.
