The spiritual realm is alive with activity, and one of the most incredible truths for believers is that God has an unseen army working on our behalf.

1. Angels Are Active Participants in God’s Plan
Angels are not just observers—they actively carry out God’s will. “If you feel it’s the Lord’s will to have a house and you pray for this house…there is an army that’s dispelled to make that prayer request be fulfilled,” Krick shares. From guiding believers to the right opportunities to opening doors in ways we cannot see, angels are essential partners in fulfilling God’s promises. This work is for those who are fully surrendered: “This isn’t anybody. This isn’t for lukewarm Christians. This is for true surrendered children of God.”

2. Angels Operate According to God’s Timing
Divine timing is crucial in the spiritual realm. Even when prayers seem delayed, the angelic army is working behind the scenes, ensuring God’s will is accomplished perfectly in His timing. “You can be praying and praying for something and wondering why it’s not coming to pass. But it could be that the Lord directed them and this timing,” she says.
3. Angels Are Spiritual Warriors Who Protect and Fight for Us
Angels serve as our unseen defenders. Krick uses the biblical account of Elisha to illustrate this: “His servant was afraid because it looked like in the physical realm, the army coming against them was so much bigger…But Elisha says, ‘Lord, open his eyes so that he may see really who is with us.’ And he opened his eyes and there was a massive army of angels in the unseen realm…fighting.” These spiritual warriors ensure God’s kingdom prevails in battles both seen and unseen.
4. Angels Remove Deception and Negative Influences
Angels also combat the enemy’s schemes in our lives. “The enemy plants so many bad seeds in people…[and] the angels literally go pluck the lies out of people,” Krick explains. Their work often precedes transformation, softening hearts and making people receptive to God’s truth.
5. Angels Are Powerful, But Our Focus Should Remain on Jesus
While angels are mighty, believers are not called to focus on them. “We are called to keep our eyes on Jesus, not angels…Sometimes we can get distracted with so much teachings about angels when it’s taking us away from real growth in Christ and doing the work that God has called us to do,” says Krick.
Our primary task remains simple: preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons, care for the poor and walk in authority. “Simply doing what God has told you to do…that’s where the power is,” Krick affirms.
