There has been a dark and demonic agenda warring against America, one that has sought to corrupt truth, silence righteousness and overthrow the foundations on which this nation was built.
For those who doubt that such a spiritual battle is real, all one has to do is look at the attacks that surrounded President Donald Trump during the 2024 election.
What rose in the middle of the election? Witches, and not just any witches, but Trump’s political opponents who claimed friendship with the darkness.

It was Oct. 31, 2023, Halloween, the night of witches, spirits, and dark magic. Hillary Clinton posted a photograph of herself online in celebration of the holiday. In the photograph she was dressed in a black witch’s outfit, laughing as she touched the brim of the black witch’s hat that rested on her head. The American Jezebel had, for some reason, decided to post a picture of herself as a witch. And if that wasn’t enough, she added the words: “Witches get stuff done.”
“I’ve Been Called a Witch”
When Hillary Clinton issued her endorsement of Kamala Harris in her presidential campaign against Donald Trump, she chose to include the words: “I’ve been called a witch.”
The words of the American Jezebel could have been written by another. For with regard to Jehu’s words against her, the Jezebel of the Bible herself could have written the exact same words: “I’ve been called a witch.”
“He Has a Shield”
With all that was arrayed against him in the natural and the spiritual during the 2024 election, Trump was not overcome but prevailed. Why? For one, the mystery ordained it. But the witches themselves alluded to something more at work. So on the eve of the election, a strange headline appeared: “Witches Report Their Spells Against Trump Aren’t Working.”
According to the article and others, witches who had been casting spells and curses against Trump were now “publicly bemoaning the failures of their spells.” Why were their spells failing to stop him? One of the witches quoted in the article said, “He has a form of protection surrounding him.” Another witch said, “He has a shield.” More specifically, it was believed among the witches that his shield was there because many people were praying.

In Scripture, Jehu had the support of the faithful, the religious conservatives, of his land. It was with that support that he prevailed. So too it was with the support of the faithful of the land that, against all odds, the American Jehu, Donald Trump, would likewise prevail.
What unfolded during that season was not just a clash of political parties or ideologies, it was a confrontation between light and darkness, truth and deception. Just as the witches confessed that their spells could not break through the shield of prayer, the same truth stands for all who belong to Christ: no weapon formed against God’s purposes will prosper. The hour is dark, but the light of the gospel still burns brighter.
