Jenny Weaver is sounding the alarm about the dark spiritual deception spreading across culture—and even infiltrating the church. In her powerful interview with Charisma Media, Weaver shared her harrowing journey from occult bondage to freedom in Jesus Christ, exposing how witchcraft operates under a disguise of light and spirituality.
Weaver explained that her journey into witchcraft began in a church that outwardly appeared Spirit-filled. “I believe that I was groomed for witchcraft.” She described being forced, as a child, to take large pills and undergo bizarre rituals to detect evil within this cultish setting.

One of the most unusual practices she recalled was “angel possession.” “If you took a picture of it, you would go, ‘This is a regular church.’ And then all of a sudden, one of the church mothers over on the side would just throw her head back in like a fainting kind of way. And then somebody would take her shoes off, stand her up and she would announce that an angel was inside of her.” She later realized, “…looking back those were not angels. Those were demons. And this was a way to control the church. This was a way to manipulate people. And this was very cultlike.”
As a teenager, Weaver’s curiosity drew her deeper into occult practices. “I saw it as a means of ‘let me be let me’… this is something that can bring me happiness, can bring me peace, can bring me control [and] power.” She began studying witchcraft, exploring crystals, sage, pendulums and books about nature-based practices. ““I believe it was demonic curiosity. I believe I was actually lured into it constantly. And “…there was a strong pull from the demonic side to get me away from the things of God because the enemy…identifies what kind of calling and what kind of impact you’re going to have in in the church world.”

Weaver also warned of modern-day witchcraft infiltrating media, entertainment and social platforms. “I have a whole section of that in my book about how witchcraft is literally infiltrated Hollywood and movies…”
Weaver’s testimony points to the power of God. “Nine years of addiction, heroin, meth, practicing witchcraft into alternative lifestyle, a life of perversion, hatred, every kind of demonic door open…even homelessness, being literally on the streets in and out of jail, just feeling like there’s no more reason to live. I remember at my lowest point, I cried out to God and I said, ‘God, help me.’ I screamed it as loud as I possibly could. And God stepped in and he helped me.”

Weaver encourages all to turn to Jesus Christ. “Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved… Repent of your sins. Our God, I lay this down. I lay that down. I turn from it. I’m not just sorry for it. Repenting is saying, I’m turning from it. I’m not going back to it. Lay it down right now in the name of Jesus Christ.” She concludes, “No matter what you do, lean into God every single day. Cultivate a relationship with Him. He literally is waiting with arms wide open for us to know him better. And when you know him, you will not fall prey to the deception of witchcraft in our day-to-day.”
