A tragic shooting in Dallas at a government ICE facility has left two people dead and another injured.
According to Fox 4 News, two detainees at the ICE complex died and a third person is in critical condition after a sniper fired a rifle on the roof of a close building. The gunman, whose name has not yet been released, died from a self-inflicted shot.

Police first made their way to the scene around 6:40 a.m., and officers from the FBI are working on the scene.
Vice President J.D. Vance took to X where he stated, “The obsessive attack on law enforcement, particularly ICE, must stop. I’m praying for everyone hurt in this attack and for their families.”

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem also made a statement on social media where she said, “While we don’t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop. Please pray for the victims and their families.”
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is also calling for people everywhere to join him in prayer for the victims, calling this tragedy part of the “alarming increase of targeted attacks against ICE and all law enforcement by evil, twisted individuals.”
Senator Ted Cruz further noted that he and his team are keeping an eye on the situation and are praying for the victims. He also showed gratitude for the “brave first responders who rushed to the scene.”
