Best-selling author and prophetic voice Jonathan Cahn is describing his new book, The Avatar, as “one of the most explosive books I’ve ever written.” Far from just another cultural commentary, Cahn says the work pulls back the veil on the invisible realm driving events in politics, culture, and even entertainment.

In an interview with Dinesh D’Souza, Cahn explains Scripture’s clarity on the spiritual dimensions influencing earthly affairs. Cahn seeks to expose that connection — from the attempted assassination of Donald Trump to the chaos unfolding in national elections, to the shocking imagery displayed at the most recent Olympic Games.

Cahn highlights the Olympics opening ceremony, which replaced Christ’s Last Supper with men dressed as women and a pagan god seated in place of Jesus. To him, this is not just artistic expression but a prophetic sign of what happens when a culture that once knew God drives Him out. He ties the revival of pagan imagery to the warnings of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche and the destructive ideologies that inspired Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich.
“The danger is clear,” Cahn warns. “When God goes out, something else always comes in.”
The Avatar acts as a prophetic book to discern the times, recognize the unseen forces at work and return to the foundation of God’s truth.
