Greg Laurie is thanking both supporters and the Lord in his latest health update.
Laurie, who is the pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California, gave an update on his health following his hip replacement surgery.
“I want to thank you all for your prayers for my hip replacement surgery — it was very successful!” Laurie wrote on X. “The doctors said they couldn’t believe I had even been walking on that hip. For all practical purposes, I wasn’t… but I did manage to make it to the baptism and preach a couple of sermons last Sunday.”

Laurie also noted that during his time at the hospital, he encountered fellow Christian after fellow Christian, having the opportunity to pray with his doctor as well.
From the moment I walked into the hospital, God surrounded me with believers — the receptionist, the nurses, even my doctor, who asked me to pray for him before his surgeries that day. My anesthesiologist was also a Christian. What a blessing!
Laurie says he is now resting well at home following his procedure.
Now I’m home, resting, starting physical therapy, and very grateful. Thank you again for all your prayers and encouragement — and a big thank-you to my amazing doctor and medical team…
Prior to Laurie’s personal update, his wife Cathe and his son Jonathan thanked supporters on X for their prayers following the operation.
