Last week Pastor Russell Johnson of The Pursuit Church in Seattle, Washington, experienced a devastating event when one of his congregants was shot on the outside steps of the church. As Christians across the country mourn this tragedy, Pastor Travis Johnson made a statement in support of Pastor Russell.
“Russell pastors The Pursuit Church in Seattle Washington, and the church has been under assault,” Travis Johnson notes. “And Antifa was attacking them during their worship event. Seattle needs a miracle.”

Johnson notes that he believes Pastor Russell has been raised up specifically for such a time as this. He also discussed the heinous killing of Lebron Givaun.

“And I think God has raised up Pastor Russell Johnson at The Pursuit, and it has come with a price. A young man that has given his life to Christ, he was bringing his wife and his family into church; 30 bullets were fired, and he was killed on the front doorstep of his church.”

“We’re asking that God will bring justice,” Johnson continues. “That God will disrupt that godless culture that is at war against the church and at war against Christians.”
In his own statement, Pastor Russell Johnson addressed the senseless killing of Lebron.
“Lebron had just gotten married on Tuesday. He was set to receive the keys to his new apartment on Friday. He was murdered in cold blood at our church on Thursday evening,” Russell Johnson noted. “It’s unthinkable that this would happen at a church in America.”
