When you take a step back and look at the state of America you’re probably wondering, “how did we get here so quickly?” In what feels like a blink of an eye we’ve gone from a country proud of their biblical values to “cheer at our gay weddings or go to jail.”
I was in elementary school when the 1962 “Engel v. Vitale” Supreme Court decision came down to no longer have prayer in public schools. We used to say the Lord’s prayer in class but it’s been sixty years since that decision was made. That was just the beginning.
The Supreme Court’s vote addressed the government no longer sanctioning prayer in public school and most people agreed that wasn’t a bad thing. What I didn’t realize at the time was how the vote would open the door to ancient pagan gods. And this time seven times stronger.
In Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s new book “The Return of the Gods” I was awakened to the deep revelation about ancient false gods of Israel influencing the same demonic activity thousands of years ago, again in America today.
I interviewed my longtime friend Sid Roth from “It’s Supernatural” to talk about the prophetic viewpoint in Cahn’s new book on my “Strang Report” podcast. He told me it’s the best book Cahn has ever written. Not only did he promote it on “It’s Supernatural,” but his ministry bought time on secular stations such as Newsmax TV. “They [ancient gods] were involved in sexual sins in the temple areas, they were doing child sacrifice, and because he traced them, he found out what the attributes of these gods were and what they did to cause Israel to crumble from the inside out,” Roth told me.
That is exactly what they are trying today. Make America crumble from the inside out. Thankfully, we don’t have to go forward blindly. There is a real understanding of the problem that is going on and Christians need to pray and spread this crucial message.
Each of us need to be open to the Lord and do what we can to stand up against the enemy, to understand what is going on. Our education, news, sports and entertainment system has totally brainwashed a generation.
“You are only going to change a brainwashed generation with the blood of Jesus and that’s why I get so excited,” Roth says.
Since the Supreme Court’s decision 60 years ago, a deep hostility to the Judeo-Christian value system has developed and I think that shows in these principalities.
The Bible says in Ephesians 6:12, “For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
In “The Return of the Gods,” learn about the biblical precedence for these demons coming back seven times stronger than before. During the ancient pagan days in Israel there wasn’t technology to make a man into a woman and vice versa. Their influence is in our culture today and it’s time for Christians to stand up and fight back in prayer.
“In the days and weeks to follow, people will have the opportunity to repent,” Roth says. An incredible move of God is coming to the earth that will prepare the way for the return of Jesus. People need to understand what is going on so they can repent of their sins and turn to God.
I believe that God has raised up Jonathan Cahn as a prophet to speak to this generation. This is powerful and we have to do this from the grassroots up.
