After Ex-Wife Complains, Judge Bans Man From Taking Son to Church

The present condition of the church leaves one to wonder if the lack of the fear of the Lord is contributing to her spiritually dead condition

A judge banned a Muslim father from taking his son to church after the man’s ex-wife filed a complaint.

According to the Daily Mail, the boy’s Muslim mother discovered his father was taking him to church after their divorce and took the father to court.

“After my divorce, the Christian community embraced me,” the man said. “They run many activities my son enjoys so I go to the church and would like to take my son. But when his mother found out, she applied to the court and won the order which prevents the boy being taken to any Christian building.”

England’s Christian Legal Center’s Andrea Williams says the move is a form of “judicial bullying.”

“The wife is using the law to coerce and silence a father’s right to determine his son’s religious experience. This chimes generally with what we see with the judicial system acting as if it is afraid of upsetting Islam and therefore showing a willingness to suppress the Christian faith and punishing those who practise it,” Williams said

“This would not have happened the other way around. If a Christian parent was trying to deny a child access to a mosque, there would be a huge outcry and claims of Islamophobia.”
