Worship leader Byron Cage is no novice in the gospel music arena. For more than 20 years, the Grammy-nominated singer has pumped out numerous albums. His sixth project, Faithful to Believe, was recorded live at Second Ebenezer Baptist Church in Detroit. This album is a compilation of praise anthems and worship ballads packaged in upbeat, stirring and inspiring sounds and lyrics.
Cage’s 11-track project includes the energetic sounds of the title cut and “I Give You Praise,” as well as the hand-clapping “I Can’t Hold It” and “In the Midst,” featuring Tye Tribbett.” Cage uses his unique gospel music style to draw listeners into worship with “He Will Answer,” “Simply Yes,” “For My Good” and “Thankful.” Singers Karen Clark-Sheard and Marvin Winans team up to deliver the soul-stirring cut “Lord, You Are My Everything.”
Faithful to Believe is a blend of traditional gospel music and new-school praise that seeks to capture the hearts of all people, regardless of age or station in life.
