Heart Issue
People who are insecure have as much a problem with pride as those who are boastful. Shyness can mask an inappropriate fear of man. We must fear God more.
Prayer
Father, forgive us. We’ve tolerated haughtiness in ourselves and lauded it in others. Deliver us from selfish interests and the need to be seen, heard, promoted or praised. Make us mindful that Your approval matters most. Amen.
