As a follower of Christ, your life is so precious and beautiful in the sight of the Lord. His thoughts for you outnumber the grains of sand throughout the earth.
Scripture says in Psalm 84 that God is our sun and shield; He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right! It may feel as if darkness has enclosed around you and you may not know what to do in these seemingly perilous times but I want to encourage you with the Word of God today.
The Bible says that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to do the things that Jesus did, and even more so, according to John 14. I have seen the hand of God move time and time again through weather miracles, healings, financial breakthrough, deliverance, encounter and so much more. The Lord gave me revelation in Scripture that has changed my life forever, and I pray that as you read this and listen to the podcast episode linked below that your life too will be changed by the power of the Word of God.
In Psalm 139:5-7 (NLT), it says, “You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence!”
David, the one who was taken from the sheepfold, defeated Goliath, anointed king, hid in caves and cut the robe of Saul and spared his life said in this passage that this was too great for even him to understand. A man who had encountered the Lord in such miraculous ways knew there was something remarkably special in what the Lord is saying here. Often in life, Satan tries to remind us of our past, present situations or the uncertainty of the future but, friends, can I tell you that God is already there? In these verses, it is quite clear the Lord has gone before you, behind you, and His hand of blessing is upon you!. He is in your past, present and future; you cannot lose!
