Queen of England Affirms New Voting Laws Requiring Photo ID

During her annual speech to Parliament Tuesday, Queen Elizabeth II introduced new voting laws that would enforce a higher level of election security, including requiring photo identification to vote in general elections.

The proposal, much like the new voting requirements many U.S. states are enacting as of late, is being met with opposition.
