“The Chosen” season five is set to be the most dramatic season yet of the hit show. As we see Jesus journey closer to the cross, viewers can expect a whirlwind of emotions in what’s being dubbed as the “Last Supper” season. From Jesus’ righteous anger displayed at the temple with His flipping of tables, Judas’ betrayal and the iconic First Communion, some of the Bible’s biggest moments are on display in this new season.

“Jesus is out of time,” says “The Chosen” star, Jonathan Roumie. “We see sides of Jesus’ personality, aspects of His humanity that we’ve never seen yet.”
“It’s the last time they talk,” says Judas actor, Luke Dimyan. “…that Jesus even sees Judas as friend.”
Creator of “The Chosen,” Dallas Jenkins, also says that in the latest season we see a side of Jesus not previously seen on screen.
