QAnon: Freedom Movement or Political Hoax?

Overnight it seems “Q” and “QAnon” and “WW1WGA” (“Where we go one we go all,” the pledge of the QAnon movement) and other such terms have become a worldwide phenomenon—or conspiracy theory, according to which view you choose.

Simply put, QAnon is a movement that began with an October 2017 post on the anonymous imageboard 4chan.org by “Q,” who said he was a government insider who had information about the “deep state.” He later moved his posts to another imageboard, 8chan.org.

According to Travis View, who has studied QAnon and written about it extensively for The Washington Post, the essence of the QAnon conspiracy theory is that there is a worldwide cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles who essentially rule the world and thus control everything. They control politicians, the media and Hollywood, and they cover up their existence. The theory says this group would have continued ruling the world were it not for the election of President Donald Trump, who knows all about this evil cabal’s wrongdoing. And one of the reasons Donald Trump was elected was to put an end to it.

We would be ignorant of this behind-the-scenes battle between Trump and the evil cabal were it not for “Q.” Through the imageboard posts, “Q” reveals details about this hidden battle as well as secrets about what the cabal is doing. “Q” regularly sends out messages describing the progress of the “great awakening” (regular people standing up to defend freedom) and its goal to defeat the deep state.

“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free” (John 8:32).

Bestselling author of God, Trump and CVOID-19 Stephen Strang had political insider Doug Wead as a guest on his Strang Report podcast after the Left’s 2019 attempt to remove Trump from office. Strang explains that Wead appeared on Lou Dobbs Tonight and “claimed that the deep state, which has successfully overthrown governments of foreign countries, was going to try to actively seek a coup d’etat of the duly elected president of the United States. He also said that if there were ever a time in history to be concerned about the rise in communism, now is the time. Wead added that the “deep state is determined to overthrow Donald Trump.”

And Strang said, “Even though Donald Trump has survived this attack [impeachment], I believe the deep state will continue to try to remove him from office.”

WWG1WGA (Where We Go One We Go All) is a collaborative book written by 12 author/contributors and citizen journalists who have YouTube channels, blogs, Twitter followings or sub-Reddits that feature Q decodes, news and commentary. Author bios and contact information are available in the book, which provides a good guide to QAnon.

It is as yet unclear whether QAnon is a hoax or a real movement. But what is abundantly clear is that there has been a sudden backlash and push to discredit it by the deep state and its various outlets. If nothing else, QAnon and related theories should move all believers to study, prayerfully discern and above all else, urge other to pray and mobilize the 37 million believers who did not vote in 2016. We have just 55 days to keep the movement for religious freedom—and so much more—alive. {eoa}
