“For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another” (Ps. 75:6-7, KJV).
Have you ever wanted to be promoted? Or prayed for it?
Most of us have probably been there at one time or another. In fact, you may be there right now. Maybe you’re trying to figure out what you have to do to move up.
If this is you, I want to encourage you to trust the Lord, because promotion doesn’t come from man; it comes from God. This is what the Word says, so we know it’s true.
Don’t worry if you see others around you getting the big breaks or moving up. Perhaps you feel a bit left behind in some ways. I want to encourage you to not give up. The Lord will fulfill His words over your life.
He is the One that causes things to come into being. He created the moon, the stars and every living thing on this planet. He’s holding your life in His hands. You can trust Him for this. Just keep being faithful! Stay in the Word. Commit to it. The Word of God will transform your life! The word that He has spoken over you is what will cause you to be promoted. Do what you need to do, but trust Him to move things into place concerning you.
Don’t look at what your eyes can see but look to God’s Word to define you. Every single promise in the Word is there for you! When I open up my Bible, I look to see His promises for Me. I know I can speak each one into being for my life, and for the life of my children, and I know He will bring it to pass if I believe it! This is why I love the Word. It’s not some fantasy or some random historical book. Its pages are filled with life, truth and His very presence. These are the promises He’s made to us—His children.
I encourage you today, leave your life, your family, your work and financial situation in His hands. Do what you can, for sure. Keep being faithful, do what He’s asked and called you to do, and then trust that He will bring your advancement and multiplication in due time because He is our faithful shepherd and He knows exactly what’s happening with you. Give everything to Him and spend time with Him. He will establish His Word in you. Trust Him for how He will do this.
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry” (Hab. 2:3, NKJV). {eoa}
