In the midst of what looks like chaos is a groan and cry for justice. In dark places within the womb of our nation, the hand of God is shaping reformers in their brokenness. These reformers will carry the revelation of the God of Justice.
We stand at a pivotal moment and tipping point in our nation as there is an increased cry for justice. This cry for justice is coming from generations of injustice, and our generation must understand we are part of a greater narrative. The bowls of intercession of previous generations are at a tipping point.
The voice of fathers who carry the compassion of the Father are being amplified, while the voice of deflection will soon be silenced. We are in a time where biblical justice must come according to the plumb-line revelation of Jesus Christ. He is the God of justice and the standard of righteousness (Isa. 28:17).
Sons of God who are anointed as peacemakers are arising out of the furnace of affliction as the answer to the cry and holy anguish for deliverance. All of creation is waiting for unveiling of the sons of God, and there is a sound of travail crying out for justice. We must have ears to hear the sound, but we must also have eyes to see the truth from the false.
“During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob” (Ex. 2:23-24).
