Jeremiah Johnson on the End-Times Messenger

Posted by

I greatly admire Jeremiah Johnson. I love that he exhibits holy boldness, the courage of Christ and that God can entrust Him with hard messages that others perhaps are unwilling to deliver. He is a genuine prophet of God. I also truly admire his humility and willingness to admit fault.

While we all miss it, many won’t own their shortcomings. This of course applies to everyone in the body of Christ but includes those in the office of prophet. Johnson’s honesty and transparency about a prophetic error makes me admire his ministry all the more. God is cleansing the prophetic, and Johnson serves as a great example on how to respond when we make prophetic mistakes.

It’s never passé to say, “I was wrong. I’m sorry,” and yet, in prophetic circles, that’s what it has become. Running to the foot of cross in genuine Christlike humility is always the biblical response. When we get to heaven, I can’t imagine Jesus saying, “You were just too quick to repent!” No, most of us could, instead, hear these words: “You didn’t repent quick enough.”

Johnson recently announced the dissolution of Jeremiah Johnson Ministries to focus on preparing the bride for the return of her bridegroom, which includes preparing the end-time messenger. His new ministry is The Altar Global.

To be honest, every time I hear him speak on the concept of the end-time messenger, my heart skips a beat. So I decided to sit down with Johnson, on a recent episode of Fire Starter on the Charisma Podcast Network, to ask him to explain the ministry of the end-time messenger.

I asked questions like:

“What is an end-time messenger?”

“Can anyone be an end-time messenger?”

“How did God encounter you regarding the concept of the end-time messenger?”

To hear Jeremiah Johnson’s heart on the end-time messenger, listen to my discussion with him on this week’s Fire Starter podcast. {eoa}
