How Your Spiritual Fragrance Is a Sweet Aroma to God

Recently on Live Your Best Life with Liz Wright on the Charisma Podcast Network, Liz sat down with her dear friend, Pauline Davis, for a powerful conversation about her walk of intimacy with Jesus. Jesus is desperate to reveal Himself to His bride and to be deeply known by each one of us.

As the bride says in Song of Songs 4:6 (TPT), “Until the darkness disappears and the dawn has fully come, in spite of shadows and fears, I will go to the mountaintop with you—the mountain of suffering love and the hill of burning incense.” Even in the midst of trials, we can enter into a deeper experience of Jesus and receive from Him everything we need.

Pauline encourages us that in seasons of “shadows and fears,” our call is not to fight, justify or retaliate but rather to simply yield to Jesus. If we can exhibit the characteristics of Christ when we are suffering, it becomes a beautiful fragrance to Him. She shares about the beautiful journey the Lord took her on through the Song of Songs, teaching her about the significance of the different fragrances. As a candle-maker, this spoke profoundly to her heart, and now she reveals incredible revelation about our fragrance to God.

Pauline says, “Jesus is the most exciting person that I know,” and you too are invited into this intimate relationship with Him where He shares the mysteries of Scripture with you and the secrets of His heart. The life of the bride is living heart-to-heart with Jesus in the secret place, where all of His virtues are available to you because you are one. Know today how adored you are by Jesus, and that your words of affection move His heart deeply. He longs for your face turned toward Him and to hear your voice.
