Morning Rundown: Will Christians Be Part of the Tribulation?
Will God allow the church to go through the Tribulation? Since Christians have been tortured and killed throughout the last 2,000 years for their faith in Jesus Christ, many people believe that the answer to that question is yes. Why would God spare us if He didn’t spare them?
The Tribulation is defined as the period referred to in the 70th week of Daniel’s prophecy, where God is dealing with the nation of Israel (Dan. 9:24-27, 12:6, 7,11; Rev. 13:5). It is also referred to as the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jacob refers to Israel in Jer. 30:7).
Israel, as a nation, has never recognized Jesus as the Messiah. God has dedicated this seven-year period to pressure Israel into seeing that they have been deceived, and to finally repent and acknowledge Jesus as their Messiah. Hosea 5:15 (NKJV) says, “I will return again to My place, till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.” It will take wrath and suffering, a broken peace treaty, and the Antichrist setting up his image in the temple and declaring himself God before they will finally acknowledge the truth. This seven-year period will also be a time that God pours out His wrath on His enemies, on all who have rejected Him as Lord and Savior.
A horrific attack unfolded on Sunday morning at the Mindanao State University gymnasium in Marawi City, Philippines, during a Catholic Mass, resulting in the death of four individuals and leaving over 50 injured, according to media reports.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the bombing, specifically targeting what they referred to as a “large gathering of Christian disbelievers” in the predominantly Muslim city, as reported by the SITE Intelligence Group. The attack occurred at the onset of Advent, a period leading up to Christmas when Mass attendance typically surges.
Lanao del Sur province Governor Mamintal Adiong Jr. confirmed over 40 individuals were receiving treatment at a local government hospital, with others treated for minor injuries at the university’s infirmary.
In 1999, John Ramirez was a high devil worshipper, within the shadows of the demonic. He was involved in satanism to the core, a medium with the devil. He even has scars on his body from when he sold his soul to the devil. But in 1999, John died in his apartment and ended up in hell. He says, “But Jesus knew my address and came to my home.” He met Jesus, came back into his body and became a believer.
“The Bible is the best manual for humanity, and I wrote “Fire Prayers” as a manual to learn how to break and destroy generational curses, strongholds, bondages, besetting sin, and patterns and cycles on repeat,” Ramirez says. “In the spirit realm, we need to know how to break these curses and sins with the anointing, the Word of God and the authority God’s given us.”
Just as Elijah called fire from heaven, burned down the altars of the 450 false prophets and made them look like nothing, we need to have the authority to call the fire of heaven upon every demonic altar, stronghold and bondage in our lives and burn those things to ashes.
