“The body of Christ needs to wake up.” That declaration explains much of what I do as a Christian journalist and as founder and CEO of Charisma Media. My passion to serve as a “watchman on the wall,” as one Christian leader put it to me recently, drives much of the speaking I do, the podcasts I record and of course the articles and books I write, including my most recent, God and Cancel Culture (find it and others at stevestrangbooks.com). My deep-seated faith underlies that passion, but so does my growing concern for the end-times realities we face today.
All of this has moved me to connect online and in person with pastors, teachers and others who share my desire to help the body of Christ move away from lethargy and into the kind of activism our Lord calls us to embrace. Those people include Clay Clark, a successful businessman upon whom God has clearly placed his hand to host the ReAwaken America tours. These events, designed to present the truth in a world of lies, have only increased in popularity since Clark held the first one, then billed as the Health and Freedom Conference, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in April 2021.
I’ve had the privilege to speak for four of the nine ReAwaken America events and will do so again at the San Diego tour stop on March 11, where I hope you’ll join me in person or online. The message I share comes straight from daily headlines and is echoed in God and Cancel Culture: In this season of increasing attacks on those who hold conservative values, we can’t remain politically inactive or passive in our faith. Rather than sink into the divisiveness the enemy stirs up, we must stand up and stand together.
One area for which Clark and I share a deep concern is that of the Great Reset put forth by globalists. Not long ago, we discussed a book by Klaus Schwab, chairman of the World Economic Forum, called COVID-19: The Great Reset, which explains how the coronavirus pandemic has given governments across the globe a platform to increase their control.
In future episodes of the Strang Report podcast, I hope to delve into the Great Reset and expose it for what it is: not a conspiracy theory, but a very real threat to the values so many of us hold dear—and a potential fulfillment of end-times prophecy as well.
Yes, the body of Christ must wake up.
