Bishop Bill Hamon is the founder of the modern prophetic movement. He was our cover story for the January issue of Charisma. Although we’ve covered the prophetic movement as long as it’s been around, we have never specifically written about him.

This week, I recorded a podcast with Bishop Hamon talking about his amazing gift of mobilizing people in the prophetic. His gift is not simply giving personal prophecies to individuals, although that is a part of it. Because there are “flaky” prophets, he has established guidelines to help those he motivates to prophesy so they do it right.

Our excellent cover story by Taylor Berglund tells how Hamon has personally prophesied to tens of thousands of people during his 65 years in the ministry. He is now 83, but he is still going strong and travels to many places while running his ministry, which blesses many, from Port Washington, Florida.

I hope you’ll take time to listen to the podcast. We talk about the reactions he’s gotten to the article and about the prophetic itself, as well as about President Donald Trump.
