Lesson 6: Stay the course of your faith. You are at the age when most Christians fall away because they are distracted or pulled away by the spirit of the world. Your faith is what got you to where you are now, and staying on that path will pay off many years down the road. The next three years will be the years that determine your future mate and your occupation, and they will set the course for the rest of your life. Set a strong foundation in Christ that will weather the storms of life.

Above all, “whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God” (1 Cor. 10:31, NKJV). When you do what you do for the glory for God, He will step in with open doors, the right connections and creative ideas when you need them. You can miss those opportunities and open doors when you have a bad attitude. Demonstrate the fruit of the Holy Spirit—love, joy and peace—in your attitude, and you will attract people. People love to work with people who have are peaceful, joyful and caring.

You are not alone in your search for what you’re supposed to do with your life. God has a plan, and the exciting part is responding to Him and seeing that plan unfold. You’re going to face a lot of decisions and transition. Remember, “seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” (Matt. 6:33, NLT).
