Jesus forewarned us that we would be living in perilous times at the end of the age. He said in Luke 21:10-12, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, and famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.” However, He reminds us not to fear because He is our refuge and strength, our very present help in time of need.
