He loved us so much He gave up His only Son (see John 3:16).
There is so much to be thankful for this time of the year. To some of you, this year may have been rough. To others, it may have been amazing. No matter what part of the spectrum you are, we should be forever thankful. Even in our mess, God created a Savior named Jesus.
Normally this time of year, Satan is at his busiest, roaming and looking for an opportunity to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10). We can resist his tactics by remembering who our Savior is. Focusing on the love of our Father. Remaining in the peace God has released upon us. This way, we win every time. I know some of you have lost loved ones and you are thinking of them especially this time of year, but just remember you are not alone.
God is with you, and the blood of Jesus prevails. You have a Savior! You have a Redeemer! And you have the power of His blood. Find comfort in this! Remain in it! Don’t be moved. Allow your tears, God will wipe them! Lay everything at His feet, God will hold you close. Believe by faith and receive all Father has for you. He has the best gift waiting for you to surrender all to Him. Your mess (hurt, pain, disappointment and loneliness) for His best.
Merry Christmas. {eoa}
