(PART 1)

The Lord desires that we continue in the race appointed to each of us until we see Him. If we discipline our hearts to persevere, we will grow in the knowledge of His truth that frees us from the enemy’s traps.

Deut. 28:9; Ps. 1:1-3; John 10:10; 1 Cor.9:23-27; Heb. 12:5-11; James 4:7.
HEART ISSUE: Have you ever resisted the discipline of the Lord? What was your experience like and what lessons did you learn?
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, thank You for Your faithfulness to run this race with me. Help me to grow in the confidence that You always have my best interests at heart. Amen.

(PART 2)

Down through the ages, many who have followed Christ have had to endure hardships for the sake of the kingdom. Being willing to learn through our hardships is what develops a mature faith.

READ: Gen. 40:14-41:1; Deut. 8:1-16; Dan. 6; Matt. 4:1-11; 2 Cor. 5:16-21; 2 Cor. 12:2-10.
HEART ISSUE: What processes is the Lord using in your life for your refinement?
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, thank You for patiently leading me as I walk with You. I praise You for sending the Holy Spirit. May I always be open to His instruction. Amen.
