How awesome it is to have the ministry of the Spirit informing us, guiding our decisions and revealing the truth when it would be outside the reach of our natural sensibilities. Discernment is a gracious offering from God to His children to protect them from deception. But discernment works by faith and must be cultivated like any other gift through use.

We must choose to operate from a spiritual mind-set rather than a carnal one. HEART ISSUE: Looking back, have you ever failed to heed a word from God because you weren’t sure about it? What were the consequences? What did you learn?
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, we are thankful for those times when You allowed us to see the end of our human, natural intuition, and made us aware of our need for a divine impartation of wisdom. Increase our dependence on You for everything we need in order to be effective for the kingdom of God. Amen.
