Joanna Gaines says she and her company, Magnolia, asked locals in Waco, Texas, to nominate people on the front lines as well as anyone needing a pick-me-up. Gaines then proceeded to arrange for bouquets of flowers and packaged cookies to be delivered to those people.
“We’re gonna surprise these people by putting it on their front porches to say, ‘Thank you,’ and that we’re gonna make it through this together,” Gaines says.
