Recently I had the honor of being interviewed by Amanda Grace on her popular podcast. I believe she is a prophetic voice to our generation. We talked about many things including my new book “Spirit-led Living in an Upside-Down World.” She told me she had a dream about Tucker Carlson, then on Fox News, adding that there is “a bigger assignment against him from the enemy.” She said Christians must be united to pray for him right now because “something big was about to happen.”
Just then I felt a prompting from the Holy Spirit to pray for Carlson. Little did I know that this was a prophetic moment as Carlson would soon be let go by Fox News a few days later.
I suggested we stop and pray for Carlson right then on her livestream. Over the years I’ve found that it is only by a life truly submitted and led by the Holy Spirit that one can survive in perilous times.
So, I started to pray.
“Father, we believe in the power of agreement. We believe in the power of prayer,” I said. “Lord, you have supernaturally revealed this to your daughter, Amanda. And so, Lord, we just pray that this assignment against Tucker Carlson will be broken in the name of Jesus. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, and we know through the power of the Holy Spirit that we can take authority over the enemy.”
I didn’t know it, but this prayer was precisely what was needed not only because of Tucker’s firing from Fox News, but because of the darkness that Tucker would continue to expose on his new show, “Tucker on Twitter.”
In one of his latest episodes, Tucker fiercely stood up for the truth against the evil of changing taboos, something that has allowed those with malevolent agendas to prevail in the world while upstanding citizens are being silenced by the woke mob.
“American society isn’t overtly religious, but it is governed by taboos, it always has been,” Carlson said on the show. “What’s interesting is how fast our taboos are changing. This is not happening organically. What we’re allowed to dislike is being dictated to us from above, sometimes by force.”
Carlson spoke directly on issues like racism as white supremacy is being considered by the liberal left as the biggest threat in our nation, while pedophilia is becoming normalized in society through social media algorithms that endorse child molestation. It’s no wonder that a man with the boldness and the courage to stand up to these horrifying topics would need prayer. Carlson is speaking the truth, just like the prophets are called to do.
