A Historic Season: Connecting Heaven and Earth

More and more supernatural healings are coming.

We have entered into a new prophetic season.

As I shared in my blog last week, one aspect of this historic timeframe is A Season of Celebration. Today let’s look at another one of the prophetic seasons we are now in:

A Season of Divine Connection

This is a year of divine connection with heaven. Both in the Hebrew calendar and our Gregorian calendar, the current year ends in six: 5776 and 2016. The number six in Hebrew is the letter waw, representing the connection between heaven and earth.

I know the number six is generally only viewed with negative connotations, due to the way the book of Revelation correlates six to fallen mankind. There is truth here.

However, when you look at the entirety of God’s Word, six also carries redemptive spiritual significance.

In the beginning, it was in six days that God created the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1). The Hebrew word and in the phrase “the heavens and the earth” starts with the letter waw. Then in the New Testament, there were six jars that Jesus filled with new wine when He performed His first miracle (John 2:6-11).

When we talk about divine connection, we’re talking about the reality of heaven coming to earth. The Lord’s Prayer teaches us this truth:

‘In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven'” (Matt. 6:9-10).

The reality of God’s kingdom is more real today than ever before. Why? The church has been praying His kingdom to earth ever since Jesus first commissioned us to do so.

That is why I believe we are going to see greater miracles, greater healings and greater supernatural encounters today than we did yesterday.

This is a year of the supernatural!

Divine Connection With One Another

Another facet of this Season of Divine Connection has to do with your relationships. This is a time of walking in unity, a season when new relationships will bud and existing relationships will flourish.{eoa}
