Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. —Colossians 3:9-10
A spiritual fortress made of thoughts can be a fortified dwelling place where demonic forces can hide. A stronghold in the mind is a collection of thoughts in agreement with Satan—thoughts that are lies against what God has revealed about Himself. Wrong concepts and ideas about God are not automatically eliminated when we are born again. We are continually in the process of being renewed by a true knowledge according to the personality and likeness of God. Until we are walking in that full, perfect knowledge of God, you and I must not make the mistake of assuming that the process of change is over.
{ PRAYER STARTER }
Show me the strong places in my mind where Satan has kept me from seeing the truth of Your revelation, Father. Tear these strongholds down, and destroy anything that hinders me from being just like You.
