Tapping Into Your Vast Inheritance of God’s Glory

We can know the Lord gives us abundant life because of His goodness.

I recently had an encounter where in a church service I was laying prostrate on the floor where my heart was covering these books of revival.

As I stood up, the glory of God’s presence was extremely thick in the place. The people there were very loving, enjoying the presence of God.

Wanting to find out more about the place I discovered that the authors of three different revival books had the prefix “Mc” to their names. For instance, it would be like McNeeley, McDonald, McEverett or something like these names. Out of this, I wondered what the “Mc” stood for. Looking it up I discovered it means “son.”

These books that I had found were written by “sons of His glory or revival.” We are in a season where batons are being passed to the next generation concerning mantles and anointing for revival glory.

“Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually” (1 Chron. 16:11, MEV).

As we seek the Lord. He will fill us with His glory. Spend time in pursuit of Him for His glory and presence in your life. God has called each of us to live as habitations of His glory and presence. Through our interaction with God in worship and prayer He fills us, bringing refreshing and overflow to our lives. This is the place that the Psalmist David discovered in the place of worship.

“Lord, I have loved the refuge of Your house, and the place where Your honor dwells” (Ps. 26:8, MEV).

David had become addicted to this place of God’s glory. He understood this place of glory that is discovered through a life that is consecrated through a life of worship. The glory of God is a place where the life of the Holy Spirit is manifested in a tangible way, where we literally experience the reality of God’s presence. There are different levels of glory that we can experience, just as you can have a different water level.

Again he measured a thousand and brought me through the water. The water reached the knees. Again he measured a thousand and brought me through the water. The water reached the loins. Afterward he measured a thousand. And it was a river that I could not pass over, for the water had risen, enough water to swim in, a river that could not be passed over(Ezek. 47:4-5, MEV).

I can remember a time when I was in a service years ago where the spirit of revival was breaking out. It was so thick that it felt like you could cut it out of the atmosphere and stick it in your pocket.

As sons, we have an inheritance that God gives to us. It is not based on our works, spiritual disciplines or anything else. Through our living relationship with the Lord His glory is manifested to us as we pursue Him. In Christ your last name is “McJesus.” You are a son of God, son of glory and son of revival! We have been grafted into to the abundance of riches of inheritance in His glory as He supplies all of our need through His riches in glory (Phil. 4:19).

“…the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance among the saints” (Eph. 1:18, MEV).

We can know that the Lord gives us abundant life (John 10:10) because of His goodness shown to us through His great, precious and highly valuable promises.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and excellence, by which He has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that through these things you might become partakers of the divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Pet. 1:2-4, MEV).

As we pursue the Lord, we are also recognizing the vast inheritance that is available to us as sons, things concerning His glory, presence and all of His goodness that He longs to make manifest in the Earth. This is what we are called to, heaven on Earth! {eoa}
