It’s crucial that we understand how to regulate our emotions when we’re doing what the Lord has called us to do and don’t feel like doing it, says author and speaker Joyce Meyer. Do you do everything for the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31)?
“One of the men that spent a lot of years in the concentration camps that Hitler built said, ‘These prisons can take away everything from me except my attitude, and I refuse to have a bad one,'” Meyer says. “Isn’t that powerful? Do you know that you can refuse to have a bad attitude and it will totally change your life? … Your feelings are fickle. You’ll get some when you don’t want them and not have others when you would like to have them.”
