Author Jan Watson returns to Kentucky’s Troublesome Creek for her fifth novel, Still House Pond,
which follows adventurous young Lilly Gray Corbett. When an aunt
invites Lilly to come visit her in Lexington, Ky., Lilly is excited for
this grand adventure. Although her parents are apprehensive about their
young daughter traveling alone, they reluctantly agree to send her off
to the big city. But when they receive word that her train has crashed,
John and Copper Corbett must learn to trust God as they rush to find out
if their daughter is injured or even alive.
