The general superintendent of the Assemblies of God says the Springfield, Mo.-based denomination is standing with its neighbors in Joplin, Mo. Dr. George O. Wood addressed ongoing relief efforts by the AG and the nonprofit organization Convoy of Hope. Wood says a multitude of volunteers has been on the ground since last week, providing comfort and assistance to those impacted by the deadly EF-5 tornado.
