Fueled by his own dramatic deliverance from drugs, alcohol and crime in
1975, Hill has dedicated his life to spreading the gospel of Jesus
Christ around the world. His passion to help those who are hurting and
his pursuit of genuine, God-breathed revival have only intensified after
years of missionary work, church planting and evangelistic crusades.
Despite the storm, in February he said: “I’ve determined that by God’s grace, we’re going to continue to win
souls to Jesus in the midst of the fierce storm I’m dealing with
concerning my health. I’m amazed at how God is doing exceedingly,
abundantly above all we could ask or think.”
The following is a prayer call from Hill’s staff:
As
you know, believers around the world have been relentlessly joining
together in prayer, faithfully lifting up Pastor Steve during this
battle against cancer.
We
have stood in amazement as God has miraculously touched and protected
him through some very serious seasons of illness. There are daily signs
that Pastor Steve is ‘in this fight to win.” He continues to press
forward and his body is growing stronger.
While
we thank God for every bit of progress and answered prayer thus far, we
feel it’s vital that God’s people unite for a time of aggressive,
concerted prayer on his behalf.
As
part of the Steve Hill Ministries family, we invite you to join with us
and Heartland World Ministries Church for 48 hours of Focused Prayer
and Fasting on behalf of Pastor Steve, starting this Sunday evening (June 12th), through Tuesday evening (June 14th).
In
addition to the fast, Heartland World Ministries Church will be coming
together for a special time of prayer on Monday evening, June 13th at
7 pm. If you are in the DFW area, we invite you to join us. If you are
a pastor or have a prayer group in another city, we encourage you to
come together to pray as well during the fast.
We
want to corporately lift up Pastor Steve, Jeri and the Hill family,
knowing that God is mightily and miraculously moving on their behalf.
Standing upon the authority that we have in Christ and upon the promises
of His Word, our united prayers will move mountains.
Keep
in mind, there are different ways to fast. We encourage you to seek
the Lord and determine what type of fast is personally best for you.
Some do complete fasts with water only, others juice fasts, while others
do a Daniel Fast that includes just vegetables. Whatever you choose is
up to you, but we encourage everybody to do something.
Below are some of the scriptures that we have chosen to focus upon. We encourage you to use these scriptures as you pray.
Thank
you for joining with us in this call to fervent, united, corporate
prayer for Pastor Steve. Together, let’s go before the Throne of Grace
standing firmly upon His Word, and expect miraculous results!

to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you
may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

lips far from you.”

Matthew 18: 18-19 “‘Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in

Mark
11:22-24 “So Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Have faith in God. For

believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will
